Michigan Baby Shower Design | Baby Bump – Part 1 Event Design

Today we’re excited to feature pictures from a “Baby Bump” inspired baby shower that we designed. Our studio designed the event concept and style for this special occasion. The event was branded with a maternity dress form, whimsical yet elegant script font and the color palette of lilac, sage and white. The branding began with magazine style invitations, which were a special request from the mommy-to-be. Next came the overall event style which was to be girly, elegant and tastefully simple. We designed the centerpieces, place settings, game booklets/stationery and the sweet table (which will be featured in part II tomorrow). The event was held on the beautiful water of the Keans Marina in Detroit, MI. Enjoy the photos!

Event Branding | Juicy Couture Inspired Sweet 16 Invitations & Event Details

What teenage girl doesn’t love the infamous Juicy Couture clothing, jewelry, perfume, purses…you name it! This was the sweet 16 theme used by the daughter of one of my planner friends, Nicole of Lavish Events. After they decided on the color palette and style of invitation it was up to me to bring the design to life.

Nicole loves to incorporate logos into her clients events, so this was the perfect starting point for me. I used this Juicy Couture logo as inspiration for her daughter, Justice, personal logo design:

And here is the logo that it inspired:

**The ready-to-order and simplified version of this invitation is available to order in our store by clicking HERE**

I absolutely love this custom invitation design! I created a boxed style invitation that began with a white box mailer with a wide black satin ribbon bow and personalized tag created for each guest.

The inside box top contained a poem dedicated to friendship. The invitation was a panel style design that was wrapped in a custom printed vellum holder. The design on the vellum contains crowns that were pulled from her logo. The wrap is held closed by a heart shaped sticker containing the logo design.

The invitation is then pulled out of the wrap to reveal a vintage couture design complete with two layers of cardstock and a blue swarovski crystal accents.

Nicole did a wonderful job incorporating the logo and color palette into the event design in order to continue carrying out the branding. The girls even had matching blue t-shirts which featured Justice’s logo….love it! The party was held on the Detroit Princess River Boat. Cake designed by Lakes Cakes.

Fashion Themed Graduation Party | The Details

I’m so excited to feature the photographs from my sister’s fashion themed graduation party that I previously introduced in this post. We had a great time at the event and I had even more fun setting up all of the coordinating details.
I branded her event through the use of her “Jacque Couture” logo and the color palette of dark purple, light purple and silver that was see everywhere! All of the details were related to fashion/shopping/clothing in some sort of way.
To start the feature here is an AWESOME custom made card box that my mom and sister created for the event. It is the actual store front boutique for “Jacque Couture”, love it! The creative genes definitely flow through our blood line!

The guest of honor striking a pose on her purple runway!
The delicious food was prepared by my mother and a few helpers; We even had purple punch!; Custom napkins with her boutique logo were designed; Her Dooney and Bourke cake modeled after one of her own purses.
The fabulous tablescape designs featured a collection of shopping bags from her boutique; High fashion shoes accented with flowers; A sewing box filled with items to manufacture clothing; A purple satin clutch purse accented with more flowers.
The welcome table at the entrance featured a sewing dummy draped in clothing from the boutique along with a huge magazine cover for guests to autograph with their well wishes.
Guests also received mini purses filled with purple m&m candies.
There were also tables accented with her senior pictures and a collage of high school memories, accomplishments and artwork.
