Why is wedding invitation timing so important? Because, if you send out your invitations too early guests are likely to lose them or forget to RSVP. But if you send them out too late they might not have enough time to make hotel reservations or to get time off of work. I also suggest sending out wedding save the dates, so your guests reserve your special day on their calendars right away. This is especially important if you are having your wedding on a major holiday, or if you’re having a destination wedding. Your save the dates should be sent out at least 6-8 months before your wedding date to allow your guests time to make necessary travel, work, and family arrangements before your big day!
