The @diadetroit annual gala is a BIG DEAL event that The Detroit Institute of Arts hosts every year. For their 2020 ‘Extraordinary Friends’ gala they had to switch to a virtual event, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But that didn’t mean the branding and formal invitations wouldn’t still be stunning!
Several decisions go into selecting the correct invitations for an event, and it’s my job to help my client’s navigate through that process! One of the first choices I help them decide on is the style of their invitation. These particular bi-fold gala invitations have a very modern style with a custom die cut flap and a minimalist layout of foil stamped logos with wording on both sides. This clean and straight-forward design is perfect for the DIA’s corporate gala invitations!
I worked closely with their planning committee to develop this silver, black, and gold color scheme. Which made incorporating gold foil into this invitation suite an absolute must! Check out the signature logo I designed as featured alongside the Detroit Institute of Art’s official logo on the front of the invitations. While designing I made sure to keep these gala invitations creative yet very polished, just like the museum itself!
